TRUNK RECORDS

Trunk Records is a British independent record label, which specialises mainly in lost film scores, unreleased TV music, library music, old advertising jingles, art, sexploitation and kitsch releases. Its founder, Jonny Trunk, is also a regular broadcaster on London's art radio station Resonance FM.

My role:

To redesign the old website and work collaboratively with a developer in order to handover a set of html and PHP templates that would enable the content manager to migrate old content, as well as add new content on a regular basis. I also provided artwork support on three of Trunk books releases published by Fuel:  AZ British Record Shop Bags, Auto Erotica and Wrappers Delight.

Key achievements:

For the Trunk's website, I delivered a simple design that was able to display a large amount of content.

Trunk's homepage is showcased into easy to read "bite size' sections, deep linking to further information, or are connected to the Trunk's external e-commerce website.

The Trunk website is now fast, functional, aesthetically pleasing (with a retro feel) and easier to read.

For the three book releases, image editing and colour correction was needed. I artworked over 3,000 assets which were featured in the books. This required a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
