Vertu is a British-based manufacturer and retailer of luxury handmade mobile phones, established by Finnish mobile-phone manufacturer Nokia in 1998.

My role:

To design the Summer Season Editions digital interactive campaign for the Strawberries and Cream Collection.

I also made a series of proposals for the redesign of their website.

Key achievements:

I had the opportunity to visit Vertu's manufacturing workshops in London, where I saw first hand, the unique and meticulous craftsmanship that goes into their luxury handsets. I had to ensure that the look and feel of the digital campaign reflected Vertu's aesthetics, heritage and artisan characteristics of their collections.

I decided that the best approach for the initial creative development was to present traditional printed storyboards. These helped to have a more open and collaborative conversation with the client, and they were inspired and confident with the digital creative process that would follow.
